Some incredible news is that multiple early MF LP recordings have just been released digitally. So you will find them on all the music streaming services. It took years to make this happen and we are grateful to all who were involved. You can find more info about these recordings on Maynard’s discography page.

These are Maynard’s early Roulette albums
1. Maynard Ferguson Plays Jazz For Dancing (1959 original release date)
2. Maynard ’61 (Roulette Birdland Series)
3. Let’s Face the Music and Dance. (from Roulette’s “Birdland Series” recorded and released February 20th 1960.)
4. Straightaway: Jazz Themes. (released July 1st 1961. )
For those of you too young to remember, this was recorded for a TV series.

6. Swingin’ My Way Through College (Recorded in 1958 and released in 1959 by Roulette)
7. A Message from Newport was released the same year 1958 (recorded December 15, 16 & 17, at Capitol Studios, NY City. )
